Get ready! Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank premieres in theaters this Friday, July 15, 2022.
This is one of those kids' movies that parents can enjoy just as much as their little ones. The trailer alone is hilarious and it's the perfect air-conditioned activity for these hot summer months.
The Story Line
A hard-on-his-luck hound Hank (Michael Cera) finds himself in a town full of cats who need a hero to defend them from a ruthless villain's (Ricky Gervais) evil plot to wipe their village off the map. With help from a reluctant teacher (Samuel L. Jackson) to train him, our underdog must assume the role of town samurai and team up with the villagers to save the day. The only problem… cats hate dogs!
For those old enough to remember the iconic movie Blazing Saddles, Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank is loosely based on it, with just as many laughs. This movie is rated G.

This all-star cast includes Samuel L. Jackson, Ricky Gerveis, Mel Brooks, George Takei, Aasif Mandvi, Gabriel Iglesias, Djimon Hounsou, Michelle Yeoh, Kylie Kuioka, and Cathy Shim. Anything with Samuel L. Jackson and Ricky Gerveis in it is a win for us!
