Why I Love Them
You really can't go wrong with any Green Sprouts swimwear, so it came down to choosing my favorite pattern for the summer season. I chose the Navy Aqua Color Block Pocket Trunks with Built-in Reusable Absorbent Swim Diaper and Long Sleeve Zip Rashguard Shirt because they look adorable together and I really like the amount of sun coverage they offer. It's so important to protect your kids from the sun now, so they aren't at a higher risk for skin cancers later in life.
The Long Sleeve Rashguard Shirt has extra features I haven't found in rashguards that I've purchased in our local chain stores. The flatlock seams and raglan sleeves are superior to other brands because they allows kids to move and play as they normally would, without the rashguard irritating their skin in and out of the water. I also like that these pieces seem to genuinely keep kids warm in the water. A few of our family members deal with Reynaud's Phenomenon, an autoimmune issue that is triggered by the cold and can be a struggle even in the summertime. Swimwear that helps keep kids warm in chilly water can be a game changer. This top is made of 82% Nylon/ 18% Elastane.
