Cody and Ali take leaps of faith for each other and their future, as Cody and Carl Joseph help their mom prep for Christmas while their dad is out at the bar. It gets very sentimental when Ali shares her faith with Cody and he starts to wonder and question how can she believe so easily. At one point, Ali suffers a coughing fit and it scares Cody to see her so sick. Cody asks Ali’s father for her hand in marriage and is shocked to get his blessing to only be told she’s dying.
