Because the fit is so snug and comfy with a wide back and leg elastics, we haven't experienced any leaks. The design helps to contain solids and the secure waist side snaps make it a breeze to take off when baby has wet or soiled himself. After swimming, simply toss the swim diaper into a Charlie Banana waterproof tote bag (sold separately) for easy travel. It's perfect for throwing in all of our essentials like diapers, cream, sunblock, wipes, an extra outfit for our little one and more. The lining is waterproof, so it protects our belongings well. When we use it as a tote for our little one's wet swim diaper, it keeps smells and wetness in, so we don't have to worry about it soaking through to other things in our bags or car.
