STEM for the Summer: Electric Motors Catalyst Kit #TinkeringLabs #kitsforkids

Mechanical gizmos are all the rage for kids nowadays and we love that they integrate creativity and STEM skills in such a fun way. With summer coming up, we have been on the hunt for fun and educational kits that will help kids explore and keep their critical thinking skills sharp for the coming school year. Turns out, Tinkering Labs was established in 2015 for this sole purpose! Their mission is to get kids involved in "open-ended projects, goal-directed but unscripted, that require active hands and active minds." We've dug into their Electric Motors Catalyst kit and are very impressed with it! This kit offers several challenges for kids to complete, which will keep learning going all summer long. Check out the details below!

Electric Motors Catalyst
This is Tinker Labs top-selling STEM kit. It's ready-made for any mechanically-inclined child to play and experiment with. The target audience is 8 years and older, and each kit has 10 Challenge Cards that take anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes to complete, on average. We love that Tinker Labs has come up with a variety of challenges in one kit, so that families are getting their money's worth out of this purchase.

**Be sure to review the safety card with your child before the tinkering begins!
