ECOVER ZERO Environmentally Friendly Dishwasher Tablets

My husband and I have been on a mission to find a natural, phosphate-free dishwasher detergent that is effective enough on an entire load of dishes. We We try to stick to environmentally friendly clean products that are supposed to be healthier for our family. We tried Ecover Zero, a phosphate-free dishwasher tablet that advertises itself as hygenic, efficient and safe, created using plant based ingredients.  We were really pleased to see that it was fragrance-free as well.

We gave it a try to see how it would stack up against our leading liquid detergent. For starters, it is much more convenient to store and use, as you only need one tablet per washing cycle versus the bulky bottles we usually have. We unwrapped the tablet, popped it in the dispenser (you can also place it in the cutlery basket if your dispenser won't hold tablets) and turned our machine on as usual. The result: Clean dishes with no residue! I also noticed that our glasses weren't as prone to water marks with Ecover tablets.

As an added bonus, the product is very environmentally friendly. From the lack of testing on animals, to the 95% recycled cardboard boxes and the 100% recyclable tablet wrappers, it's a product you can feel good about purchasing.
