Almondina Cookies

We've been searching for healthy snacks, so when we came across these Almondina Cookies, we were really excited to give them a try! I highly recommend them. We tried the Original flavor first and found them really delicious without the guilt that other cookies make me feel after I eat them. They are all-natural, kosher, pareve (non-dairy), thin, and crispy, with no cholesterol and no added fat, salt, or preservatives. They fall into the gourmet cookie category, but they are healthy, too, which is a big selling point for me. They are reasonably priced, too. (You can by them online for anywhere from $3.49 to $4.79 a package, but they have sale prices going on right now for even less in some flavors.) I have also seen them in stores like Magruders, MOM's Organic Market, Yes Organic Market, Trader Joes, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls, but you can also order them online.

They have lots of flavors to choose from:

·       Original-with almonds and raisins

·       Chocolate Cherry-dark chocolate with cherries

·       Choconut - Rich tasting crunchy chocolate

·       Cinnaroma - The original biscuit with cinnamon

·       Gingerspice - Chunks of Australian ginger

·       AlmonDuo- Almonds and pistachios

·       AnniversaryT - Award winning cookie with anise

·       BranTreats - Oat bran and cinnamon

·       Sesame - Biscuit with Sesame

·       Seasonal Pumpkin Spice - A seasonal cookie with fall spices and almonds and pepitas

·       Chocolate Dipped – the original biscuit dipped in the rich dark chocolate  

Almondina Cookies had some great recommendations to pair with their cookies. They suggested eating them with tea and coffee, as a cracker with soft cheeses, crumbled on top of ice cream, served with milk for kids, or eaten as a breakfast-on-the-go snack. I decided to crumple the original flavor on top of my vanilla yogurt and it was so delicious!
