This week, I was able to preview "An Unlikely Angel", a Pure Flix original film with a truly excellent cast. This film is for parents who are trying to do it all and need to know they aren’t alone on the journey. It's a movie about second chances and prioritizing what’s truly important in life. It helps bring us back to basics in an overcomplicated world and is for someone who needs a reminder that it’s ok to not control every aspect of your life. Warning, I found this one to be a tear jerker!

Synopsis

Janie is a workaholic who is falling apart at the thought of becoming a first-time mom. She whispers a small prayer for help and it’s answered in a very unlikely way when an angel intervenes and fast forwards her life. Will her second chance change how she approaches life?  Janie is lucky enough to be given a second chance, but will she change before it’s too late?

My Thoughts

This may be one of my favorite Pure Flix movies so far. It's so relatable and you feel for everyone involved from beginning to end. The beginning has some really great one-liners that made me laugh and it takes a very sudden dramatic twist that I didn't see coming. I won't ruin it for you though! I walked away with a reminder of how important it is to prioritize the truly important aspects of my life. This film would be perfect to view and discuss as a group during you next Bible Study meeting. While you're at it, incorporate these tips from Pure Flix to simplify your life.
