First off, shout out to my fellow tall girls–you're going to be very happy with this sleeve length! I often find it difficult to find a jacket in a size 'small' that also has an appropriate sleeve length. This one fit perfectly and was true to the model description in the photo. The cut of the jacket fits my body nicely and doesn't feel bulky like other down jackets tend to do. It comes in five different warm fall/winter colors. (Check out the 'darkest spruce' color I chose.)
The jacket is made with 650+ fill power down, and feels so light, but doesn't sacrifice warmth. The fabric is water repellent, too, so it's a great choice for wet, chilly weather. A hood is a must for me in the cold, but this jacket gives you the option to unzip it, if you prefer. I love that the side pockets have zippers, because I can feel secure in traveling with my phone and keys when I'm out and about without lugging a bag around. I was curious to see if it would be easy to pack this jacket in my suitcase and was surprised to find that it took up about the same amount of space as only one pair of my jeans.
Pro Travel Tip: If you're planning to fly this holiday season, the jacket acts as the perfect pillow on long flights, too! Pack it away into its pouch and you've got a nice place to rest your head.
