Recipe: 5-Minute Snack Banana and Peanut Butter Quesadilla #bananapeanutbutter #PBB


This is SO easy it is ridiculous. One banana, two quesadilla shells, and one spoonful of peanut butter per quesadilla and you're ready to fry!

Ingredients


  • One banana
  • One jar of peanut butter
  • 2 quesadilla shells
  • Vegetable or olive cooking oil

Directions for 2 Quesadillas
  1. Heat up frying pan on medium-low heat.
  2. Add a little cooking oil to lightly coat the bottom of the pan (I use a small pan and no more than 1 tsp of oil).
  3. Peel one banana and mash in a bowl.
  4. Use half of the banana mash on each quesadilla shell, only covering HALF the shell.
  5. Take a knife and spread peanut butter on the same half of each shell, lightly mixing the peanut butter in with the banana mash.
  6. Fold the uncoated half of the quesadilla over the peanut butter-banana mash half and add to frying pan.
  7. Cook each side of the quesadilla for 1 to 2 minutes, depending on how crispy you like your treats!
  8. Remove from heat, cut in half, and serve.

Note
Add a sprinkle of cinnamon or chocolate flakes for fun. I've also used syrup when serving it mid-morning or for breakfast, and jelly when it's an afternoon treat.
