Summertime is a great time to create some memorable family bonding experiences. One of our favorite ways to bring the family together is to shut off the electronics and gather around the table to play board games. This summer, we recommend a really fun game by Winning Moves USA that our whole family enjoys called Cranium Cadoo. It incorporates kinesthetic, art, and trivia tasks in a way that's fun for everyone.
About the Game
The original version of this game is back by popular demand! Cranium Cadoo is a family friendly version of the Cranium game that incorporates puzzles, drawing, sculpting, acting and code-cracking to win. The goal is to complete tasks and place your token on the game board, ultimately scoring four in a row to win. It allows kids to showcase their skills and try their hand at new ones. With so many different activities, there are plenty of opportunities for success. It is recommended for ages 7 and up and can be played with 2 or more players.

Why We Like It
Our family had a fun time playing this together. The rules and questions were completely appropriate for our seven year old and the variety of tasks kept it interesting and engaging. It's definitely an easy game, but that doesn't make it any less entertaining. We enjoyed a lot of laughs and loved getting to see some of the hidden talents we didn't know our family members had. In fact, we've labeled the youngest as the "Charades King" because he put so much thought into acting out his cards. The decoder mask was a good laugh as well, simply because it looks so funny when each person used it on their combo and solo cards.
