Shave Well Fogless Shower Mirror

My husband has been talking about getting a fog free shaving mirror for the shower for a while now. I had planned on looking for one the next time that we were out and about, until I came across this Shave Well Fog Free Mirror online. I contacted the manufacturer and they were kind enough to let us try it out! When it arrived my initial thought was that it was kind of small. However, when we put it in the shower, the size made sense. (It measures 4" wide, 6" tall and 1/8" thick.) With it's size, it's really light weight and easy to hold in your hand, but still wide enough to see the area you're shaving. You can see in the picture that it comes with a hook to attach to the shower wall. We ended up hanging it on our shower caddy hook, so we didn't use the one in the picture, but the ability to take it on and off the hook is important. My husband had an easier time shaving since he was able to pick it up and angle it where he wanted it, rather than have it stuck in one place on the shower wall.

It's really important to follow the directions and get the mirror heated up to the temperature of the shower water before use, or it won't work properly. In the few seconds you hold it under the shower water, the temperature of the moist air and the mirror equalize to create a fog free image for the duration of your shower. (Be sure the mirror is not too high or near a direct flow of cool air or it won't work properly!) The mirror also comes with specific directions to explain this.

Overall, my husband was really pleased with this shower mirror and found it to be great for shaving in the shower. It would make a fantastic Father's Day gift!
