The Royal Fir
So, what did we decide? After much deliberation we went with the 6.5' Royal Fir Slim Quick-Shape Artificial Christmas Tree with 500 Warm White LED Lights and couldn't be happier with our choice. The price is incredibly affordable and the set up took less than a minute. We literally clicked the stand and two section of the tree together and were done. No need to sort color coded layers and assemble each branch piece by piece. We took extra joy in putting on the special gloves included for shaping the tree.
Once the tree was shaped, it was very natural-looking and didn't shed much at all compared to our last tree. In years past, we used to find artificial needles for months after we took down the tree. No mess with this one!
Let's talk about the lights. Gone is the pain of untangling, connecting and stringing the lights around the tree. A few connectors and we're good to go. With the connected light pedal, toggle through seven different light effects, either white lights or colored, blinking or solid, fast or slow. It even comes with a remote to control light settings. Here's a quick demo of the options:
Although I'm typically a white-light person, our little one couldn't get enough of the colored lights, so we'll definitely be mixing it up throughout the season for a little extra fun.
I wish we had found King of Christmas sooner and saved ourselves the hours and hassle that our old tree demanded. If you want a stress-free, truly enjoyable time with your family decorating your tree, this is the way to go!
