Super Bowl Chip Swap 2017 #healthyeating #partyplanning #lowfat #lowcalorie

The Super Bowl is days away and our snack table is just about complete. This year we'll be participating in the Super Bowl Chip Swap, which means replacing our typical, fatty chips for better quality, better tasting, healthier options. Our table will feature Garden of Eatin' Organic Chips, Sensible Portions Veggie Chips,  and Terra Sea Salt Blues Chips.

Why We Like Them

Garden of Eatin' Organic Chips: We chose to replace our traditional chips with these Nacho and Ranch flavored chips. Gluten free, kosher, and a great replacement to other chip brands because they have 6 grams of total fat. That's 25% less fat than competitor brands--guests will appreciate it!

Sensible Portions Garden Veggie Chips: We chose the Salt and Vinegar Chips and I can't stop eating them. They're so good that I wouldn't guess I was eating a "healthy" chip. We're pairing them with a low-fat french onion dip, since they're great for dipping. For those with restrictions, these chips are gluten free, non-GMO, cholesterol free, and kosher. We also wanted to incorporate some fun kids chips on our table, so we're sprinkling it with some Valentine's Day-inspired Mini Heart Veggie Chips. I can already imagine little fingers covered with 'heart rings'. They have 30% less far, so parents will love them, too. (Found at Target!)

Terra Blues Chips: Of course we had to make a swap to incorporate my favorite Terra Chips as well! I've been a long time fan of the sea salt flavor and I know my friends get excited to see them, too. These might just be the best veggie chips on the market.

We hope these suggestions encourage you to make a Super Bowl Chip Swap for your own parties this weekend!

Do you have any healthy party planning tips? We'd love to hear about them!
