Most women would agree that they wish they had taken better care of their skin in their 20's. I'm certainly no exception. I'll blame part of it on not really knowing what a good skin care regimen was and another part on pure laziness. Though it was rare that I'd go to sleep with makeup on, it definitely happened here and there.
In the past few years, as I see the consequences of careless skin care, I've been trying to do all I can to truly treat my skin right. I found a dermatologist that I'm very happy with, I've had a skin consultation to figure out which products and routines are right for me, and I try to be as consistent as possible in following through on these routines. Recently, I have seen the Spa Sonic Skin Care System in stores and on T.V., so when I was offered the opportunity to try it, it was a no-brainer.
"The Spa Sonic Face and Body Polisher is the essential first step in a healthy skin ritual. Manual cleaning can leave behind dirt, oil and makeup trapped in pores and fine lines, causing congested, dull skin and acne. Finally, a waterproof device is available for both the face and body to deeply cleanse while removing impurities, exfoliating, tightening and minimizing pores. The brush head operates with four attachments: a small brush for the face, a large brush for the body, a pumice pad for rough areas, and a facial sponge for microdermabrasion and reduction of fine lines; all of which are included with the sale of the device."
My facial skin issues are three-fold: fine lines, large pores, and occasional acne outbreaks. From the product description, this product should be just what I need. Add the Pumice Brush to the equation, and I expect to be all set. So, how did it go?
I have been using the Spa Sonic Skin Care System for one week and the most noticeable change for me was the fact that my skin was truly tighter, cleaner and brighter. At times, when I manually cleaned my face, I would find makeup residue because I hadn't scrubbed as well as I thought I did. Using the Spa Sonic facial brush and my face wash, I haven't had that problem at all. It took me a couple of times to get used to using the Facial Sponge for my moisturizer, but I feel like I'm getting even coverage now and massaging it in seems to help with absorption. As for the pumice stone, I LOVE this. I typically hate keeping up with home pedicures in between getting one at the salon, but the Spa Sonic pumice attachment makes it incredibly easy.
Overall, I consider this product a win and would recommend it to others. I'm already thinking of it as a holiday gift for a couple of friends and family members. Keep in mind, they offer Spa Sonic Skin Care System Face and Body Polisher in white, lavender, pink, radiant orchid, vibrant yellow, and tangerine!
