My husband and I love cooking together and although we started out as extreme beginners, it's been a really fun activity to do together. Our skills have come a long way! One thing we've learned is that what you cook with matters. Healthy Summer Stir Fry Recipe

Check out the Healthy Summer Stir Fry Recipe we created using the Calphalon Wok! It's an easy, healthy, and make for a painless clean up!

servings: 4-6
time: 30-45 minutes

  • 2 chicken breast
  • 2 zucchini (medium size)
  • 2 carrots (medium size)
  • 2 green peppers
  • 3 green onions
  • 1/2 sweet onion (medium size)
  • 1 cup lentils
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 6 tbsp soy sauce
  • cooking oil
  • toasted sesame seeds

1. Scrub all vegetables well. Chop zucchini into thin, 2 inch slices. Peel carrots and chop into thin, 1 inch slices. 

2. Steam zucchini and carrots for 5 minutes or until tender.

3. While the veggies are steaming, core green peppers and cut into long, thin slices. Chop onion into thin slices. Set aside.
4. Chop chicken breast into small chunks. Heat wok, add oil, and toss in chicken chunks. Allow to cook thoroughly. (We used the Calphalon 12 inch Flat Bottom Wok.)
5. Once chicken is cooked, add green peppers and garlic. Allow to cook until  green peppers are tender.

6. Add steamed veggies, onion, and soy sauce. Mix well.  Remove from heat and stir in lentils.

7. Plate stir-fry and sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top. (We enjoy plating this stir fry over a brown rice as well!)

8. Serve and enjoy!
