Fiber One Protein Bars
This Valentine's Day, why not break up with your candy bar? 2013 is all about healthy choices for us. We've been ditching the junk!My desk drawer at the office is always filled with snacks to get me through the work day. Lately, I’ve been putting effort into filling it with healthy choices. My most recent snacks are the new Fiber One Protein Chewy Bars. I’ve tried the Coconut Almond and the Caramel Nut bars. While the Coconut Almond bars are definitely my favorite, they are both delicious!
Coconut Almond Bars- Fast Facts: 140 calories, 6g of protein, 20% of daily fiber. I like to think of this as a healthy Almond Joy! I’m usually very picky about the chocolate in protein bars. Often times it doesn’t even taste like real chocolate, but that is not the case here. The chocolate is great and it goes well with the coconut and almonds. One bar is very filling. I love that I’m eating a healthy snack without sacrificing taste!
Caramel Nut Bars- Fast Facts: 130 calories, 7g of protein, 20% of daily fiber. The caramel in these bars is sweet, which complements the saltiness of the nuts really well. My husband is a big sweet and salty snacker. He’s a fan of these and agrees that the chocolate actually tastes like real chocolate, unlike many other bars in this category.

I'd replace oreos with Fiber One bars
