AboutHeating.co.uk

We love our new bathrooms, but my husband despises the towel racks of all things. They were standard when we picked out everything in the showroom, but seeing them with the rest of our decor, he thinks they look cheap. Since he's already thinking of changing them, I took this opportunity to suggest the AMAZING ladder rail bathroom heaters that I had when I lived in Europe. It may sounds like no big deal, until you've had one!
These are the two racks my husband hates!
Maybe a bathroom heater rack above the tub?
There are some excellent examples of these bathroom heaters (which is what they're really called, even though I call them heated towel racks) at About Heating. The reason I love these bathroom heaters is two fold. First, in the winter, after trudging through the snow or rain, my pants and socks would be soaked. I loved turning on the towel rack and throwing them up there to dry quickly and out of the way. I'd also hang all of my delicate clothes that couldn't be thrown in a dryer on these racks and either let them dry normally or turn on just a tiny bit of heat. These heaters also have a modern look and you can hang your bath towels on them neatly to coordinate with your bathroom decor, too. Another reason I love these bathroom heaters is that they make the bathroom nice and warm for you before you get into the bath or shower. In the winter especially, this was priceless!

My personal favorite: The 2012
When I was poking around on the About Heating Website, I noticed that their bathroom heaters were even nicer than the one I was used to. They offered digital electronic thermostats with over-ride options, are adjustable up to 2 hours, have adjustable temperature dials, are water filled, and have a heating indicator light. That light would have helped me a lot, since I left mine on all the time!

Storage Heater
I also came across a slim storage heater on the About Heating Site. Wouldn't this be perfect for the basement or garage in the Fall and Winter? I like its small size and the fact that it's advertised as whisper quiet. They even made the installation simple for us "do-it-yourself" people. Plus, you can't beat a 10 year warranty on a heater.

Galapagos Panel Heater: Isn't this a great design?
The more we think about preparing for the upcoming weather change of Fall and Winter, the more we are thinking things like a storage heater and possibly even their panel heaters may be the smart way to go. For now, feel free to help me come up with more great reasons to persuade my husband to install that bathroom heater for me!

  3. I really like the bathroom heaters. I live of the West coast (USA) and it's very rainy here too. That would be perfect for us.

  5. No doubt, Storage heaters are domestic appliances, which help us in warming our homes at an amount that is quite affordable. We can make of them use them to keep our homes at a conducive temperature , especially when the weather is bitingly cold and everywhere seems to be freezing.
