EGWs6uuBZ3pp-zGuVVdmeLgkJG4 Across the Avenue: for Camelot

Friday, July 20, 2012 for Camelot

There are so many reasons to love Not only do they offer free, fast shipping (and I mean fast!), they also pre-screen all of their movies to be sure they are good, clean movies for their viewers. This means no rated R or higher movies and limited nudity, violence or sex. I like knowing that our family movies will be appropriate for our movie nights, with enough quality reviews to be sure it will be worth watching!

Most recently we chose a movie for our neice called Quest for Camelot. It's rated G with beautiful animation and a message of the importance of friendship, girl power, and bravery. I have always loved Camelot  cartoons and stories as a child, so I was really curious to see if our six year old neice would enjoy this as well. The basic plot is based on a teenage girl who takes on the task of trying to retreive Excaliber from the evil knight who wants to rule the land, as she ultimately tries to save Camelot. I was a little nervous that it would be too intense at times, but it was totally appropriate. They've created some really funny characters that Kayley meets along the way and it's immediately evident who the "evil" character is when Ruber is introduced.

I won't ruin the ending for you, but this movie brought on quite a few gasps and cheers from our family! It was a fun choice and a successful movie selection for our neice. Quest for Camelot also includes special features such as 3 documentaries, computer animation tests, and 10 theatrical trailers which we enjoyed watching as well.

Check it out!
