Biosilk Thermal Shield Spray

I straighten my hair with a flat iron on a daily basis. As we all know, this can really damage your hair if you aren't careful. Split ends are almost impossible to avoid in the long run, but one product that I've tried for about three months now which seems to help prevent breakage is the Biosilk Thermal Shield Spray. It's really simple to use, too!

After my hair is dry, I section it into pieces and spray the thermal shield on, then straighten my hair like I normally would. The added bonus is that it helps me to style my hair without any extra products for that final finishing hold. I usually get my hair cut every six weeks, but I feel like lately it's been looking healthier longer and I could probably stretch my haircuts out to eight weeks. I bought the Biosilk Thermal Shield Spray for around $14 at a corner store near my home, but it seems like you can get it even cheaper if you shop online or at a mega-store like Target or Walmart. Since this spray has been such a success, I've been thinking of trying the Biosilk Leave-In Conditioner for the summer to protect my hair at the pool. Stay tuned!

  1. I love this stuff, too! I started using it instead of the Chi spray that I used to use because I felt like it made my hair feel less sticky or stiff from product, but it still kept me from damaging my hair as much. Great post!
